Beginner’s Energy Yoga – The basic level is meant for beginners, and anyone else who wants to join in and try it! In our Basic Flow, you will learn alignment and breath work of classic postures and poses. You can also expect some energy medicine yoga techniques in this class.
This class is for students of all levels — from beginners to advanced — and is meant to bridge the gap between all of the levels. Work on building muscle tone by holding poses for a longer duration, allowing you to deepen poses and your practice in yoga, and focus on your form.
This type of yoga targets the connective tissues of your body, such as the joints, bones, and ligaments. The poses, or asanas, in Yin Yoga restores the connective tissues that the more traditional yang asanas cannot reach. The asanas are held for several minutes, allowing the pose to penetrate deeper into the tissues. Yin complement the dynamic and more muscular (Yang) practice of yoga.
In this class, you’ll physically, mentally, and emotionally prepare for childbirth. Learn to adjust to the physical changes your body is going through, and manage your discomfort. You’ll gain strength, flexibility, and self-confidence. Please consult your physician or midwife before scheduling a yoga class with us.
